Planet of the Apes

The Planet of the Apes franchise consists of multiple films, most notably the 1968 classic and the 2001 remake, which follow astronauts who crash-land on a mysterious planet where highly evolved, intelligent apes are the dominant species and humans are a primitive, enslaved race.
